What is the aim of an Ayurvedic Consultation?
The main goal of an Ayurveda Consultation is to identify a person’s unique “prakriti” (the ideal state of balance), determine the “vikriti” (patterns of imbalance), and offer interventions. Recommending a suitable diet, herbs, aromatherapy, panchakarma, massage treatments, music, yoga, and meditation are used to reestablish inner balance and harmony.

During your Ayurvedic consultation, we address your health concerns from a physical, emotional, and spiritual perspective. Integrating the theoretical frameworks of Ayurveda and modern science, your session will focus on you as a unique individual, as well as the health issue itself.

Traditional In-Person Consultations
In a typical appointment, Vaidya Vasudha takes your complete medical and lifestyle history, and performs a physical evaluation. This analysis looks at the body as a physical system and as a field of intelligence — reflecting the needs and choices of a person’s life. 

Using her knowledge of “Nadi” Pulse Reading, Vaidya Vasudha can quiz the internal workings of your body systems.

Based on this assessment, a customized body/mind/spirit-health-enhancing prescription is formulated. This includes recommendations for dietary changes, stress management, exercise, emotional healing, nutritional and herbal supplements, and sensory modulation. 

Virtual Zoom Consultations
In virtual zoom consultations, Vaidya Vasudha will interact with you one-on-one, from the comfort of your home. She will evaluate your aura and energy channels as she interacts with you in the consultation. Vaidya Vasudha will also look at your tongue and analyze any dosha imbalances.
